People mainly wear masks to hide themselves, to stop themselves from feeling vulnerable, to let everyone still treat you the same. The attention you get when you are not yourself is not very pleasant. It makes you feel like a weak person. It takes a strong person to smile through harsh times, but it takes an even stronger person to admit the he is not himself and needs help. From personal experience I know this. My abbreviated opinion is that allthough God inevitably knows what you are going to choose, it's still your choice. And you sit with the concequinces of your own decisions. Therefore,if Pietie did not get chosen for the LRC, it's not because God hates him. It might have something to do with the fact that he is a rebelinus anarchist who never does his work. On the other hand, God may very well have a specific OTHER plan for Piet,that he wouldn't be able to achieve if he were to be on the LRC. In short: I dont have all the answers, but God is good, Jesus loves you, and everything's going to be OK...
